I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

      I don't have a problem with make-up. What I have a problem with is the fact that elementary school girls are already using it. I'm not talking lip gloss and concealer, (I have no problem with that in 6th grade) but these girls are using everything their 35 year-old mothers are using: full-on foundation, blush, mascara, eye liner, the list goes on.
    Someone once described this situation to me as a young girl being a rose bud; When you let it bloom by itself, it takes a long time, but ends up being one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen. But if you peel the petals open, it only takes about two minutes, and it's pretty at first...but then you look closer, and it's not very pretty at all.     I'll leave you at that, and I encourage you to ponder it.
