I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

    I was doing some thinking as I was endlessly sucking on a recently purchased jawbreaker. The results of my thought bubbles is as follows:
    If you suck on a jawbreaker, it seems like it takes forever to get to the middle, aka the special part that can actually be chewed without losing molars. But in the end, you can say "I was paitient enough to wait to get to the middle. It took hard work and a long time, but I did it!"
    If you take a hammer to it, you get the whole experience of all the colors and flavors at one time, but you lose the capabilty to say you waited. All you can say is "I was impatient."
    It's the same way with purity, you see. If you choose abstainance, you can say, "I was patient enough to wait for this special thing. It took hard work, a lot of waiting, and MAJOR resistance to temptation, but I did it!"
    However, if you just take the easy and pleasurable way out, you get what you want, when you want it, but you'll never be able to say, "I waited, and I let go of my viginity at a good time, not just when I wanted it."
    Grab a jawbreaker, and think hard. You'll see what I mean...
